Ingredients
- 4 cups Fruit Loops
- 4 cups Rice Krispies
- 2 (10 ounce) bags of marshmallow
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
- 1 teaspoon Canola oil (for Greasing mixing bowl, cookie sheet and spoon)
Instructions
- Directions: Use the canola oil to grease a large bowl, cookie sheet and mixing spoon (grease both sides of the spoon). This will prevent a sticky mess. Add the Fruit Loops and Rice Krispies cereals into the large bowl. In an extra large pot (non-stick if you have one) melt the butter on medium low heat. Once melted add both bags of marshmallows. Allow to heat and begin folding marshmallows into the butter using a large spatula. Keep stirring until all the marshmallow has completely melted, then add the teaspoon of vanilla bean paste. Mix until fully blended. Pour melted marshmallow mixture into bowl with Fruit Loops and Rice Krispies. Mix quickly being carefully to cover all the cereal. Pour mixture onto greased cookie sheet. Use the back of the spoon to press down, making the mixture even. You could also use another cookie sheet to press and make the treats even. Allow to cool 20-30 minutes before slicing.
