Chocolate Chip Cookies

I had to help Katherine bake cookies for her class last night. And I had to really think about it, when was the last time I baked chocolate chip cookies. It has been a few years. I use to make Chocolate Chip Cookies all the time for my husband and the kids. The love homemade chocolate chip cookies. A few years ago I started watching my sugar intake, so I cut way back on the sweets. You probably notice I don't post a lot of desserts. I do love a great homemade cookie every now and then, but they love me right back in all the wrong places, if you know what I mean. I do think that a really good recipe for chocolate chip cookies is a treasure. I pulled out my old recipe and swamped out the vanilla extract for vanilla bean paste. I love the stuff, those tiny vanilla beans make everything taste better. And these cookies are no exception, they were all in two days. That is always the true test of a great recipe at Casa Linda, not a cookie in sight. I hope you enjoy this recipe, I love hearing from you. Please comment below or message me on Facebook. Happy Halloween, have fun and be safe. Bon Appetit, Cecelia
