This Spooky Halloween Graveyard is a fun way to serve my Chocolate Pudding Trifle. The children really enjoy helping me decorate the tombstones with black icing and putting the gummy worms in the dirt for a spooky surprise for our guests.
*Mix chocolate pudding as directed on box. Chill pudding in Refrigerator until ready to layer.
TIP: For richer and thicker pudding use ½ cup less milk than indicated on package instructions.
In food processor mix entire package of cookies until a fine crumb appears. No visible white center should be present. Set mixture aside. Grate chocolate bar and also set aside. In an extra deep baking pan add the cookie mix, chocolate pudding, the grated chocolate bar and cool whip until you have at least two layers of each. Save some cookie mix to sprinkle as final top layer. This is best when stored overnight or up to 24 hours before serving. (if storing over night - Do NOT add cookies or gummy worms they will get soggy. Save the cookies and gummy worms as decoration just before serving.
TIP: This recipe can be cut in half if you are making it for a smaller group – it can be put into individual cups.
