

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
- 1 teaspoon molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup smooth peanut butter
- 36+/- Hershey’s Chocolate Kisses
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Spray cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray.
- In large bowl, combine brown sugar, egg, vanilla, molasses, peanut butter and butter; beat until light and fluffy about one minute.
- Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
- With a teaspoon gather dough and roll between hands into small balls, no larger than a quarter in diameter, place balls onto cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown, remove from oven and immediately place kisses onto each cookie.
- Allow to cool about 10 minutes before serving. This recipe makes approximately 36 cookies.
