Mango Salsa

Summer is the best time for fresh fruit salsas. Mangos are perfect this time of year and are plentiful and priced right at the local market right now! The amazing flavors that come together when using fresh fruit in this salsa will amaze you! Fresh fruit salsas go well with all type of foods including corn chips. Mango salsa is best with fish, chicken, and pork. I love Mango salsa with fish tacos. You can see my previous post for easy to make fish tacos. Ingredients
- 2 large Mangos (diced)
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 2 Tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 2 Tablespoons fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 - 2 jalapenos (chopped finely) **
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, add mangos, jalapeno pepper, red bell pepper, onion, cilantro and fresh lime juice. Mix and serve.
Notes
- ** Jalapenos can vary in heat, try one and see if that is enough heat, if not chop one more and add as needed, until it is the right temperature for you taste buds!
