Spicy Pulled Pork Sliders

When I think of fall I think of Halloween parties and football gatherings. So with parties and gatherings in mind these "Spicy Pulled Pork Sliders" make the perfect food for any gathering. Most pork butts are usually around 5 pounds. So five pounds of meat goes a long way at Casa Linda (my nickname for my house in New Mexico). Unless you are feeding a large family then freezing the pork or using if for a party works well with this recipe. I love soft fresh rolls for the sliders and topping them with barbecue sauce and coleslaw. Fresh cut dill pickles also pair well with this sandwich. Spicy is perfect for most of us that live the greater southwest and the spicy barbecue with sriracha that I used with these makes the sliders even better. It gives the slide depth of flavor by adding spice on many levels. The rub is really the secret to the pulled pork. It is loaded with New Mexico red chile. For the recipe see the post for Spicy Pork Butt. I have my husband to thank for smoking the pork butt. I did the rest. Wink, wink. Those Kansas City boys love their barbecue, and this pork butt was fantastic. This is the best one yet Ted! I hope you enjoy this recipe. I love hearing from you. Let me know what think, post your comments below. Until next time - happy grilling and Bon Appetit, Cecelia
