Rosemary Grapefruit Natural Soda

This recipe was inspired by a drink I had in Boise, Idaho while out to lunch with my dear friend. I was in the mood for something cool and refreshing, this weekend and I get tired of drinking just plain water every single day, and when I need a boost to drink more fluids I sometimes get inspired to create something beautiful and tasty like this “Rosemary Grapefruit Natural Soda”. It was so easy to make and I really didn’t go to extremes to make it. I used a few oversized mason jars, to encourage myself to drink more fluids. I used an old grapefruit and orange that looked like they had seen better days and some sparking water. To garnish it, I picked a few sprigs of fresh rosemary from my herb garden and made this awesome natural grapefruit soda. What I failed to mention was that the grapefruit alone was a little tart, so I squeezed an orange to make it slightly sweeter. You could always add a little raw honey and that would also do the trick. And if you don’t want to go to all the effort of using fresh squeezed juice, you can use store bought juice. (I prefer fresh squeezed, it tastes so much better and it is not pasteurized, taking away the natural nutritional benefits of the fresh citrus.) I promise I won’t hold it against you if you use storeI thought it was so lovely and colorful that you would also enjoy it. I hope you make it and if you do please let me know what you think. I love, love hearing from you. Drink up and share your thought below. Bon Appetit,
