
Easy Mediterranean Appetizer – with Hummus, Dolmas (Stuffed Grape Leaves with Rice), wholewheat pita bread, Feta and Mozzarella Cheese, and Olives. YUM, YUM!
A Simple Mediterranean Appetizer Recipe

- 8 ounces Mozzarella Cheese, drained
- 8 ounce Feta Cheese
- 10 ounce can Dolmas, drained
- 4 whole wheat pita, heated and sliced into small wedges (6-8 per pita)
- 1 lemon sliced
- 1 cup hummus (see previous blog post for recipe)
- 8 ounces mixed olives, drained
- Drain and towel dry the Mozzarella cheese and Greek olives. Drain the Dolmas, garnish with fresh lemon. Heat Pita over open flame on low heat for about 5 seconds on each side, slice, plate all ingredients on serving dish, place hummus in the center and place everything around it. Enjoy!
- You can always buy prepared hummus, if you want to make it even easier!

A simple and delicious appetizer. Homemade hummus is the way to go . . . it tastes fabulous!

A few selections of cheese, dolmas, a nice selection of olives and hummus, make the perfect appetizer. No cooking needed here. You can always use store bought hummus if you are short on time. Even I do that when time is an issue.
