Serves 4
I don't know about you but I really get tired of eating the same thing for breakfast. And I know my family does too. We go in phases, oatmeal, eggs, cereal, yogurt, smoothies . . . you get the idea. Well we have been going to a new place in town that makes these amazing breakfast bowls. They are about $10 each. Well that adds up quickly if you are feeding four people. So I thought I should start making them for my family at home and try to save some of that extra money I was spending on going out to eat. And what do you know it is way less expensive and just as tasty. I use a variety of yogurt as the base and then add on lots for fresh fruit, granola, nuts, toasted coconut and local raw honey. I add the honey for two reasons, to add a little sweet and local raw honey boosts your immune system and helps build against seasonal allergies. Local bee pollen does the same thing. Well these amazing yogurt fruit breakfast bowl are all the rage at Casa Linda. So I thought I would introduce you to them and the fact that they are easy to make at home. I hope you enjoy this recipe. Bon Appetit,
