Wellness Ginger Carrot Juice

I don't know about your family, but mine has been spreading a nasty cold around for the last month or so. I have done everything to try and get them healthy, including back to juicing on a daily basis. This is my latest creation, a wellness carrot ginger juice loaded with turmeric and cayenne pepper. It is amazing, I felt like I was getting sick and after a couple glasses of this amazing stuff, I was feeling better than ever. It is great stuff and not only will it help boost your immune system, it helps combat inflammation in the body, fights free radicals which cause illness, and is also great in aiding digestion. The health benefits are endless. For this recipe you will need a juicer, no worries if you don't have one, I recommend purchasing carrot juice and apple juice and adding the remaining ingredients. Warning - it is spicy and the red pepper burns slightly going down your throat, but it is great stuff. (You can adjust to your own liking.) Wellness Ginger Carrot Juice is the perfect boost for my immune system. I am the only one in my household that managed to escape the crud so I know it works! Here is to your health. Ingredients
- 8 - 10 carrots, washed
- 2 green apples
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
Instructions
- Juice carrots and apples. Add the grated ginger, turmeric and cayenne pepper and mix well. Pour into small juice glasses and serve.
Notes
- If you do not own a juicer, you can purchase carrot juice (16 ounces) and 100% apple juice (8 ounces), cold pressed (unpasteurized) for both juices if you can find it. Mix ginger, turmeric and cayenne pepper into juice combination and enjoy.
