The Perfect Homemade Sloppy Joe Recipe
2016-06-29 14:35:22
Sloppy Joes are a family favorite at Casa Linda. I was all out of sloppy joe sauce so I thought I would try and make the sauce from scratch. Feeling creative at the moment, I added some unique ingredients to spice it up a bit. All in all, I really loved it. I think I liked it because it wasn’t loaded with sugar and not nearly as sweet as the can sauce. The green peppers, jalapeno peppers and sweet onion were the perfect addition. And I had to add a little red chile and some red chile flakes. This gave it that extra zing. It turned out to be much better than the stuff in the can. I would love to hear what you think of this recipe, so write a comment below or send me a note on Facebook. Don't for get to follow me on Pinterest and see what interesting recipes I am sharing.
