Strawberries and Cream

You know I don’t always cook everything from scratch. I know that may surprise some of you. There are some things like this Strawberries and Cream over Pound Cake that are just so easy and delicious – why even bother to try to make it better. I love fresh baked pound cake this one came from Costco. And so did the strawberries – so there. I used prepared whipping cream – I usually make my own but I needed something super easy and super fast so I bought prepared whipping cream. A little powdered sugar and you have a beautiful dessert in less than five minutes. Bon Appetite, Cecelia
1 Fresh baked pound cake, sliced thick about 1 inch thick
1 pint strawberries, sliced
2 tablespoons honey
Prepared whipping cream
Powdered sugar for garnish
Cinnamon for garnish
In mixing bowl add sliced strawberries and two tablespoons honey and mix well. Slice pound cake in thick slices and cover with strawberries, sprinkle with powdered sugar and add whipping cream. Sprinkle whipping cream with cinnamon and serve immediately. The easiest dessert ever and oh so delicious!
