Spiced Nuts

You have got to love a handful of Spiced Nuts with your holiday beverage. And whether you are having a beer, a glass of wine or just sparkling water this recipe for spiced nuts is perfect for you holiday bar. They also make for a great homemade holiday gift. This recipe is easy and can be made in less than thirty minutes. The recipe be can be cut in half or doubled depending on how many people you are expecting at your holiday gathering. Since they have fresh butter they do not store for more than a few days, but you don’t have to worry about that, they go fast!

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 tablespoons butter (melt in microwave for approximately 30 seconds or until melted)
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 cup sesame sticks
4 cups mixed nuts
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup cashews
Instructions
- In large mixing bowl add melted butter, canola oil and spices mix well until blended. Add nuts, sesame sticks and mix thorough until fully covered with spices. Spread nuts on large cookie sheet at bake at 350 for 10 – 15 minutes until they are lightly toasted. Allow to cool and serve immediately.
