I went to the downtown growers Market this morning. I love going there early before it gets too crowded and you get the first pick. This morning I discovered a new bread from Bosque Baking Company – Green Chile Sourdough. It is so delicious; they were giving free samples out. After tasting the sample I had to purchase a loaf. The bread inspired to make this killer Grilled Green Chile Sourdough Chicken Sandwich. I used grilled chicken, sliced extra thin, fresh picked tomatoes that my friend Chris gave me and some fresh sunflower sprouts that I also bought at the market. Well, I am not sure if it was the fresh bread or just the entire combination of all the flavors together, but this was the best sandwich that I have ever had! Seriously! The sad thing was I only had enough chicken to make one sandwich so my husband didn’t get any! Sorry Ted. Here is the recipe. It is a must try. I highly recommend the bread so check out the Bosque Baking Company at the growers Market on Saturdays or visit them at the Bakery on 922 Coal SW, Albuquerque, NM.
